Introduction
The SMP connector is a new blind mate coaxial connector that provides an ideal solution for modular, dense installation applications. Its design tolerates certain radial and axial misalignment and serves dense blind mating in PCB, cabinets and interconnection.
The nanonature can be arranged with a 4.3mm center spacing. and the frequency bandwidth work in the range of up to DC~40GHz.
SMP is a novel microminature blind mating RF connector serving DC 40GHz frequency. It is push-in coupling mechanism.
SMP series ultra-small push-in connectors provide a good solution for modular dense installation applications, choose the appropriate SMP series connectors and installation methods, the connector center spacing can reach 4.8mm.
The SMP series blind mate connectors can use frequencies up to 40GHz and are available with three different connection retention forces depending on the male interface size.
Varied in detent force, the male interfaces are divided into Full detent, limited detent , Smooth bore and Catcher mitt.
