3.5mm connector terminated to cable or PCB
The 3.5mm connector is named after the 3.5mm of the outer conductor of inner diameter. It was first developed by Hewlett Packard (HP Company, now Agilent) in the United States, and is consistent with SMA in size and specifications, except that air media is used in the connector, and the operating frequency is 34GHz. The physical interface is more robust than the SMA, enabling thousands of repeated connections.
